Tomike Ogugua’s story begins in Durham, North Carolina, where a Southern sense of narrative and community first shaped his ear for the way people speak, listen, and reveal themselves.

He came into his craft in Chicago, a city whose theatrical tradition prizes discipline, ensemble, and truth over spectacle. That professional development gave his work its foundation: a classically trained actor grounded in the fundamentals, unafraid of stillness, and attentive to the human detail inside every scene.

Today his career moves across New York City and New Jersey and out onto national screens — from his multi-season recurring role as U.S. Marshal Macedon on STARZ’s Power to feature film, theatre, commercials, and the classroom.
